Does anyone even bother to go to these races anymore? The stands always seem to be half empty on race day. NASCAR is slowly dying out as a sport. Between the stupid rules to determine who wins the cup, and the lack of top drivers compared to the past, the glory days are over. The cost to run a car is simply not worth it. Many teams just fold up. Two teams totally dominate. The rest just get in the way. Today's drivers are nothing more than a bunch of wusses compared to the heyday of NASCAR racing where most races were 500 miles.
