Many ways to get rid of the start and park cars, first thing that comes to mind is start the payout scale for the top 30 or require a certain percentage of laps to be completed.

Hamlin still needs two wins to make the Chase and he's running out of time. I'm surprised he's 25th in the standings. I would've thought lower with the races he missed and the DNFs he's accumulated.

He's becoming a little like 2012 Kyle. Four out of his last five races he's finished outside the top 22. 34, 30, 23, 35
