i did bet some on harvick, but not like the others because im planning on just using him as a cover bet at the moment....will decide later how much ill add to him either as my last profit bet or just stay as covering my bets.....all just depends if i add 1 more driver or not...if i dont ill be adding bets either way and wont use a cover

Trying to decide if I should take Bowyer and Harvick at +1200. You guys think their odds drop later?

i have no idea how the vegas books odds move keep in mind

but bowyer usually qualifies great here so he could get a little lower, and dont think he would get much better...Bowyer has qualfied in top 5 in 4/5 races at Richmond and we know how they overreact to that

i personally dont think those are good enough odds on harvick...i cant see him getting much lower than that

McMurray and Menard sitting 9th and 10 so they're easy ducks.

He will move up, the question is how far. No one behind him is a threat. So I'd guess he finishes 10-12.

I was reading the articles and it said he would not be stripped of the win

and the standings I saw show him with 2 wins for the season, which would give him a wild card berth if he doesn't make the top 10.

NASCAR's site has him 8th still. They must not be aware of the penalty

Yeah now I see you're right. But the standings aren't updated. Yahoo said he wouldn't be stripped of the win and the nascar.com and espn.com standings show him with 2. So he's credited with the win but not for the chase I guess.

Kenseth was stripped of 50 driver points in the standings — he earned only 48 points for the victory — and Nascar also erased the 3 bonus points he earned for the win that would have been applied in seeding for the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship.
