New NASCAR Sprint Cup Road-Course Qualifying Procedure Announced: NASCAR announced that the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will implement the group-based road course qualifying procedure used in NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Touring Series competition during its road-course events at Sonoma Raceway and Watkins Glen International. Under the new procedure, cars will qualify in groups instead of the traditional single-car qualifying runs held on oval race tracks. "The change will add an exciting element to road-course qualifying," said Robin Pemberton, NASCAR vice president of competition. "Fans will be treated to new strategy and increased competition with several cars on track at once."

It's all linked. 5 Dimes comes out some hours after the first places.

What I was saying is the first places usually have odds up by noon Eastern on Tuesday.

5 Dimes doesn't, but they'd follow after.

So if the first places are delayed, 5 Dimes will be as well (I would expect them to post later than usual).

of course like right now i know they wont post, its always hours after greek...but they have posted at 3:30am before so i wont be sleeping tonight....but im guessing it will be morning at this point...but i never take any chances even if i dont bet any openers i want to see them

im starting to doubt more and more Hamlin is racing, and if he confirms he isnt b4 odds post at the rest of these books, the other top favorites odds will immediately drop

even if he does, id be hesitant that a relief driver might step in at this point

not sure i would take him or not even at 18-1...i think thats where he should be...9-1 is a joke

he hasnt won here in like 22 races (2002), and his form is awful this year

but its a good # since he always runs well here, and its more a drivers track not speed/downforce...just a gut feeling either way imo

people with accounts at sportscrook or greek, I'd try a bet on someone else, where odds might drop a lot if hamlin doesn't race

seems really up in the air. Worst case scenario, Hamlin goes, and your odds are probably not a lot worse anyway (these openers were made with the assumption that Hamlin will be in the 11).
