dont know why i continue betting games with richmond involved, been on the wrong side of it a bit of late.. Feel sorry for eveyone who bet the under, with grounds like the mcg the drainage is so good weather does not effect unless during gametime..

Hi guys,

I am thinking of taking Essendon tonight at +6.5 ($1.83), ML ($2.10) and -15.5 ($3.05). I can't see Carlton scoring enough to remain close, even though they should come out with a bit of intensity.

Any comments/thoughts on this one?

i think carlton win a coin flip.

make sure you spread your bets out.... essendon are not worth 3 units.

i'd be on blues tonight, but i overlooked the recent H2H record last week with the saints/essendon, which bit me in the arse. essendon have owned the blues of late.

if i can't pick it with any confidence, i won't play it. i feel the same way about sydney/hawthorn and north/freo, which are the first 3 games of the round.

could be a good weekend to lose a truckload of money. my advice is to tread carefully.

there isn't actually a single ML or spread that appeals to me right now apart from MAYBE melb and the bulldogs, which are the last two games of the round.

Yeah the Richmond game got me a little worried.....even when they were 60 points down the fact that the last few weeks they have always come back in the last quarter made me breathe a little easier.

Wish the Afl would take the NRL stance and have more rounds, was just starting to clean up with the multis
