Gonzo: well over west the big betters I know and speak too are staying away. a lot of people have lost some very big bets on NRL this year. i think i saw someone else post something here about that a well. if you're making money off it, good on you, but i personally think its too much of a coin flip this season.

The problem is that people are getting beat by the refs, rather than the footy team.

if my team looses well i take that form on board to the next game. BUT if my team looses because of some poor reffing, it pisses me off.

I dont mind a footy team beating me, but when i loose to the refs thats shits me.

Mr Gonzo calls that capping I call it luck, he would of not appeared in this thread and done his victory parade if it wasn't for poor reffing.

Eels (+2.5) @ Broncoes ( The line is a joke based on the broncoes form, Eels got one last charge in them)
Roosters @ Sharks (+10.5) ( Roosters fade time is coming if you fade them every game I think you get a profit)


Magpies (-40.5) @ Bombers ( Such a massive line but Collingwood can't be faded until they don't cover,they play with such intense pressure)

Just saw Essendon outs, Essendon might lose by 60 points. No Fletcher this line is good, might throw up to 3-4 units on this.

Panthers lost through poor officiating? I don't think so. Just because Matt Elliott has a cry doesn't make it so.

12-6 and getting penalized with the ball on your own 20 for verbally engaging the ref when it was a clear penalty the other way.

Final penalty count was 6-4 Canberra's way but 2 of them were in the last minute when Penrith slapped at the ball offside. So effectively it was a 4-4 penalty count.

There is a lot of luck in one game. Long term it is something different.

And if I'm going to do a victory parade for last week it would be for Manly and NZ which I declared as good things and advised an all up. They both won in a blow out.

Fully expecting a loss with Peter Wallace leading our attack. Won't bet against them since I'll be at the game.

The Sharks line is at 8 now which doesn't appeal to me. Might make a couple a-league bets instead. Good Luck!

The NRL is hard to bet on but one thing is for sure that Newcastle and Raiders are in form... theyre playing with heart(unlike parra) bet on them 1-12 in the next couple weeks and you will make some money...

Firstly my views on the Monday night game.....Some decisions certainly went against Penrith...But any team that leads by 14 points at half-time and CAN'T even score a point themselves just DOESN'T DESERVE TO WIN...ANY GAME....ANY DAY..... I don't care what team it is...Good teams can defend a 14 point lead even if things are going against them.....

BRISBANE V PARRAMATTA: I love watching games when teams are desperate and that certainly describes PARRA.....Without Lockeyer the BRONCS should struggle, but don't under estimate Wallace....Just heard news that Parramatta want TO SACK Anderson if things don't improve....IMO he is a POOR COACH......I'm still not satisfied with the halves from Parramatta, even with Mortimer their halves are the weak link of the team....Again it comes back to who wants it more...Give me the eels...

TIP: PARRAMATTA + 2.5 pts and UNDER 43.5 pts

CRONULLA V ROOSTERS: I know the roosters are playing good football, but I'm not totally convinced yet....I'll take a team with 10.5 pts all day any day against the Roosters.... Even if the competition ladder was worked out on a HEART scale the sharks would still be near the bottom...They often look disinterested in the game and can once they see the game slipping away give up to easy IMO.....Even saying that the start can be enough. i think the under/over betting is the better option...

ESSENDON V COLLINGWOOD: At first glance the line at 415 pts seems like a lot, but when the score gets out to a 25-30 point lead a few more goals won't be to far away....My only concern with Collingwood is are they REALLY pumped for this game as they were last week....But on the opposite scale will Essendon be really interested....They are close to no chance to make the playoffs and Collingwood would want to lock up top spot......Surely teams have to show strength adn what time to show it on a Friday night at the G....

TIP: ESSENDON +41.5 pts and UNDER 199.5 pts

BEST BET: BRISBANE/PARRA UNDER 43.5 pts and ESSENDON/COLLINGWOOD UNDER 199.5 pts
