    dRavidC's NRL 2016
Hey guys, back for another season of NRL!

    2* Panthers +4 vs Bulldogs

Not a massively popular play here but I'm liking the Panthers to either keep it close or take out the win. If we look at both team's round 1 games, Bulldogs looked fantastic (though it must be said Manly were playing suicide football for most of it) while Panthers showed patches but lapses plagued them in the end. Both teams are down troops with Panthers losing Segeyaro and Moylan still at least a week away whereas the Bulldogs are minus Brett Morris and now the pivotal Lichaa. The bulldogs forward pack definitely looks menacing and the return of Klemmer further bolsters that. The panthers forward pack aren't pushovers either with the playmaking forward in Cartwright who i rate very highly and Merrin/Mckendry/Peachey. They also have a more superior halves combination and I rate the backs as fairly even. This play is more of a gut instinct which tells me the Panthers step it up and Cartwright and co. step up and rebound from their first round loss to take it up to the bulldogs.

Good way to start the season but my oh my bulldogs got out of jail there, did not deserve to win that game the way they played.

        NRL Round 2

2* Tigers vs Sea Eagles OVER 40

Monday night games last season were predominantly duds but this seems like a cracker of a game. The Tigers played as well as they could have against the revamped Warriors side and putting up 28 points in the first half was quite impressive abid the warriors defensive woes. The Sea Eagles on the other hand have a new-look deadly looking lineup which largely failed last week against the bulldogs. However, I'm not too surprised with that result as it always takes a while for a team with new combinations and lineups to take time to gel. Anyway, I think the value is firmly on the Tigers here as they don't deserve to be the underdogs with the way they played last week but I wouldn't be surprised if Manly comes away with the win despite their poor record at Leichardt. Manly will be heaps better than last week and I definitely see points in them tonight against a questionable Tigers defence. Both teams should put plenty of points on the board and a high scoring cracking game is what should result.

Easy winner but wow the tigers are looking really good early on in the season. And Manly... a hell of a lot of work to do. Anyway, 2-0 start to the season isn't bad and we'll have more plays next weekend. Have a good one everyone!

solid winner on the under there. great defence from both sides and some non-existent attack from the bulldogs sealing us that one.

the h2h market doesn't actually have a draw (it's in the margins market) so they refunded my money back. anywho, thought knights would have lost me this money after being down 18-0 but kudos to them for fighting back. cracker of a saturday night.

Cruel cruel loss, Bodene Thompson offloads to no-one Koroibete picks the ball up and races 60m to score in the last minute of the game.

                                3* Broncos vs Cowboys M/L @2.30

Massive value on the cowboys here. You have a Broncos team backing up from a loss against the Panthers after benig in such a comanding position and the cowboys who have been going quite nicely. Revenge factor from the grand final will definitely be on the minds of the Broncos but i think the cowboys come away with it and the value we have on the M/L is too much to pass up on.
