    Brownlow Medal 2012 Thread
So who does everybody like for the brownlow medal tonight?

I'm currently leaning Sam Mitchell and Dane Swan as the bolter.

I like Dane Swan too, no ones giving him a sniff. Dane Swan to make the top 5 at 1.90 has been locked in.

I'm all over Jobe here, think Ablett and Swan missed too many games to get up there but it could be pretty close. Don't even know why Cotchin is rated that high to be honest...

ablett only missed two games and had 3 supercoach scores below 100.

watson missed no games but had 4 supercoach games below 100. as well as he was playing himself i am not sure how many votes he can get in the last 8 rounds given essendon were brutalised in 7 of them.

could argue GC were flogged often, but this is much more expected so ablett can still poll well i am thinking.

        looking at taking ablett.

Fair point, Ablett worries me a bit and umps naturally get wet over him so he'll be up there for sure. Still went Watson for the win but also a made a play on the Watson/Ablett quinella that Sportsbet has at $6.50.
I also took Swan to finish top 3 which at $4.50 i thought was good value even though he missed a couple

Scott Pendlebury, Steele Sidebottom and the emergence of Dayne Beams will take away too many votes from Swan. I think he finishes top 10.

Jobe Watson to be leading at round 10 is my pick.

Apparently the Suns listed Ablett as the 2012 winner on his bio already

haha hopefully they have a crystal ball! Just checked my account and I took him to win and place by accident instead of to finish top 3 so now I've got $200 on him and $100 on Watson who I actually thought would win

Wikipedia had Jobe Watson listed 1 hour as the winner with 31 votes? Got him at bet365 at odds 2.5 live 20 min ago.
I know absoluty nothing about AFL but this was a gift! Seems a bit strange tho.
