Played him twice and keep getting 2nd. Now he is coming into a slightly longer race after a 10 length layoff only so that does not thrill me. I am just putting $20 on him and let it ride.

Belmont Race 8
#1 Desert Stone(12/1 ML): Longshot special. His first start was about a month ago. HE went 6 wide in the stretch and closed very nicely to get 2nd. I believe he would have won but he veered in twice and had to check hard. Oddly enough the horse who beat him in the last race is 5/2 in this race i.e. Maraud and I think Desert Stone would have beaten him had he stayed straight. This is a stakes race though.

Penn National Race 9
#6 Red Warrior(8/1 ML): Decent 3rd last race and bet down from 12/1 to 6/1. I was not happy when he took the horses head off around the final turn when he could have gone up the rail. What I do not like about this race is he was scratched from his last start, has not raced in close to 5 weeks, and seems to be moving up in class. I will bet with caution.

Gulfsteam Park race 14
#3 Guidonia(7/2 ML): Had a great trip in his 2nd start last race until the stretch. I thought he did not have it until he shot forward halfway down the stretch and then got absolutely stuffed in a logjam and had to lay off. I think he has a big shot today but I am not overly fond of a 13 horse field but will play anyway.

You are correct just watched replay making the first turn he ran into the hedge of the bushes. And clipped the 4 horse. He jumped .he was way back . Made his move. He didn't go that wide. But he ran everyone down in stretch. ... it was his first start also . I bet he will get bet down to 2 to 1. 5/2. Nice follow

Well he won but at 1/1 odds lol. I have a bunch of pic3s, $100 to win, and some $20 DDs going. I am a little unhappy with the #6 as he cost me the super but in the 8th race at Woodbine I logged in with 1mtp to check on significant form and decided to take a 6/7/all/all superfecta which came in and paid over $1200 and best of all NO TAXES woohoo. Calling it a nice day.

I just watch them on amwager which I also bet on. They did cut their daily bonuses a little but they still pay far far far far superior than companies like tvg or twinspires.

Two harness plays tonight.

Mohawk:

Race 4: #4 Beach Goddess(4/1 ML)- This horse raced against American Cheer who I liked last week and was running right by American Cheer after going first over when the horse broke stride. She would have been an easy winner. She stays in the same class which is good. I just hope they do not run a safe trip around the track so they do not have to requalify.

Race 8: #3 Whozyomomma(9/2 ML): Same class was bet down from 8/1ML to 3/1 second fave. The horse went first over and was parked the mile and still managed to get 3rd against a nice field only 2 lengths back. Any semi decent trip I think wins this/ I have waited 12 days for this horse to run.

I had a bunch of Beach Goddess which I took off when it went to 1/1 and boy am I glad. He sat the horse in last place just to run him around the track. What an idiot because the horse is not a regular breaker.

Ok here goes a try to recover from the tuesday debacle. I had a ton of other 2nd place finishers that night and it sucked.

Santa Anita Race 4
#5 Family Code(6/1 ML): Stuck in the gate last race and went sideways out of the gate to settle about 3 miles back. Closed a ton in the stretch only to run into the back end of other horse and had to swerve to get 2nd. He does appear to be moving up in class and there is a 6/5 ML fave in this race but I am still taking a chance on this horse.

Charles Town Race 8
#3 Brenda J(2/1 ML): Not thrilled with the fave status in this race nor the fact it is a 12 horse field so I will need 3/2 before I bet to win. She destroyed the field last race only to be disqualified after swerving over into the path of the #8 horse around the first turn.

#5 Holysnapeneyeballs(7/2 ML): Coming off his first start in which he settled in nearly dead last 10 lengths back. Took the turn about 5 wide and just hand rode the horse down the stretch to a 3rd place finish. The jockey did not even try and looked like he was going for a morning stroll. I am hoping for a better effort today.

Belterra park Race 1
#6 Prose in Motion(15/1 ML): Hurray I got the longest shot in the field but hey why not for a small bet. His last race(and first) he got out of the gate very awkwardly and settled about 15 lengths back. He rushed up at the quarter which is never a good thing and went about 8 wide in the stretch to get 4th to fast fractions. It was actually pretty impressive considering how bad a run it was. He is moving to a different park now and I have no clue if this is a bump up in class but heck I am gonna give it a try.

Holy cow he was beyond awful dead last and way way dead last. Something had to be off on this horse.
