It all depends on the value of the race ,odds. Exact pools. And I mean the odds just before post.

If a horse is generally 7-1 or better. I try to keep away from trifectas. I want to cash

But I'll play to win. And key him in a pick 4 or 3.

Thx...they give you cash..got $475 for finishing 17th in beat the prick and could of had $3,000 i think for 2nd in bowl contest but lost 2nd place tiebreaker to 2 other guys and got 55k points for 4th.
