Chasing my Pick 6 Dream

I think tomorrow's Pick 6 is going to be pretty tough. Not a whole lot of favorites that I like. This is what I like so far.

R3) 1, 4, 5, 6
R4) 2, 4
R5) 1, 4, 7, 8, 10, 14
R6) 1, 3, 4
R7) 5, 6, 7
R8) 2, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14

Hopefully, there are some scratches tomorrow so I can trim this a bit.

Didn't get to post the last few days. Did ok over the Breeders Cup. Closing day at SA, so mandatory pay out for Pick 6. This is what I like so far.

R6) 1, 3, 8, 10 (clueless)
R7) 2, 7, 10
R8) 3, 8, 11
R9) 1, 2, 3
R10) 2, 3, 9, 10

Why did I not like the favorite EGG DROP in R9?? Otherwise I would have achieve my goal, even though it did not pay much!!

I don't usually play Aqueduct, but there is a carryover, so......

This is what I like so far

4) 10-3-9-11
5) 1-2-8
6) 7-8
7) 10-6-5
8) 5-7-2 ( the 2 is very interesting, DRF selections were top picks and it's 20-1 ML, I don't know why they like it tho)
9) 9-5-1

It looks like a tough pick 6 with no odvious singles. I wouldnt leave the 2 Backstretchlady out of the last race. The 2 favorites look tough in the 7th 8 and 11.

Dreaming of Cara should get a great trip in the 6th with all the cheap speed signed on. Id need to spend way too much to have a chance so Im not playing. Good luck if you do.

Tks for your inputs. I ended up not playing anything cuz got busy at work and totally forgot about it. Had a ticket saved in my account (a pick 6 and late pick 4), pick 6 already dead, alive on the pick 4 if I had played it. Lol. Anyways, thanks for your inputs.

I actually agree with homerbush, and I have found that Pick 4s and an occasional Pick 5 have been more lucrative for me too. With Pick 6s, I never found myself winning, but I still hold out faith. It will happen for me some day! For now, I will be concentrating on Pick 4s and Pick 5s so I can win some money. Once that happens, I may start playing Pick 6s again. Pick 6s certainly give you the chance to win big money, but the frustration of researching the “right” picks and not winning can prove too much. Whatever bets you choose, may you come out a winner!

thanks for the encouragement. Pick 6 is one of goals that I felt I need to accomplish as a horse racing player. So I will continue to play it until that day comes. For now, good luck to me and to everyone here on SBR.

with that, it will cost me $960 for the Pick 6 ticket. LOL.

Need to trim it down. Anyone has any strong feel on any particular race?? Thanks in advance.

Well mrgin, at least you are keeping your ticket at a reasonable price! LOL..I have never had much success with exotics past the exacta. Keep plugging away! When you hit the big one you going to fly us all up for a beer?

Well, I was so close and yet so far today. Race 7 was the dagger, I chose the two 12-1 shot, only if I had decided to go with Richard Mandella @ 10-1. I would have finally accomplished my dream. Although it didn't pay much, Pick 6 paid a little over $10K. Anyways, till next time... GL all.

Congratulations! Even w the 20 cent base they are so tough...i remember my last hit on pic 6 3 years ago at gulfstream paid 9k...Mike maker won 4 of the 6 races and last leg he had 3 runners and the longer one won....very exciting no matter what payouts....keep it up!!

Thank you sir. My first Pick 6 and feels really good. Kinda like getting that monkey off my back. I have now won every wager possible at least once. Hopefully, my next Pick 6 will be much better payout (wishing.....) LOL.
