For those who like to play UK races early am.

Just got an email from Twinspires ...

Sent them an email a few weeks ago about the possibility of opening the wagering earlier so that we can play the UK races that go "off" before 9am Eastern .. at the time it was a "sorry our provider does not allow for this - so we're stuck with what you see right now - but we're working on it ... "

Nice to get a follow-up email from them yesterday ...

We have been working with Amtote to offer the international racing earlier and hopefully starting next Tuesday morning you will see that we will have these tracks by the first race in the morning. Our hopes are that all the logistics, video etc will be worked out by next Tuesday.

I emailed them too - they use the same provider for tote betting "Amtote" so they too were not able to take bets on any race that had a post time before 9am Eastern .... I'm guessing that they too will now be able to take bets on the earlier races ...

Side note - I have just signed up for Xpressbet (sp?) and maybe they used an alternative provider .. I have no money in that account yet .. but it did let me add the wager this morning to the earlier races (others would not even let me add the wager) ... not sure if it would have let me go ahead and accept it ...
