    Pennsylvania Derby longshot
I am going to take a chance with Afleet Again, he ran 4th in the travers from a outside post and a wide trip, gets a small field today that really doesnt have any world beaters in it, First Dude is there but remember he only has 1 win and runs a game race everytime but not a winning one.. at 12-1 i think this is a decent play today..

Guess we know why Johhny V went with Zito instead of Dutrow horse. Now onto the Super Derby. I am loving Golden Moka

Ya, but Morning Line just really wanted it tonight the way he ran. Looked really good in my eyes. Would expect him to be at Churchill next

Another Jump though and that impossible to figure out First Dude nails him, he looks like a horse that has no interest in running on the far turn, his last 3 races he was dead turning for home only to come on again in every one of them.. very odd

Horses that tend to not run much through the far turn usually have a reason. Certainly do not think it would be an obvious lameness on the left lead but shoulders and especially feet are the first places I would look.
Had a horse that hated the far turn and flew through the stretch all the time . Figured out his left foot( White hoof)was more tender than the right one.Got his feet squared away and he got better around the turn ,thus making the stretch an easier place to deal with.
Also, did not see the race but if he was inside around the turn, he might hate running with horses outside of him.Could be a claustrophobic thing but many horses do not like inside because they're eye sight is affecting they're comfort level to stride out fully. Once outside or clear for the run, they will feel comfortable and reach out fully.
                  Always a work in progress.

he was sitting 2nd the whole way to morning line, albarado was sending him hard on the turn but was going nowhere, A little Warm came up outside him and he steadied a little and dropped 2 lengths back, at the 1/16 pole he angled him out and he was flying. he did the same thing in the preakness where it looked like he'd be last and he ran 2nd.. He's made $800,000 with only a maiden win under his belt..

yea he got shut off, but he was dropping back when it happened, when i saw it live i thought thered be a inquiry, but watching the replay he was already out of the fight when it happened.. Still a hard trying mutha though..

Looks like he lugged in slightly on heels causing the rider to check to straighten him out.The horse in front switched to his right lead at the same time which he has every right to do thus moving out about 3 feet . That made it look like he was bothered but he put himself in a bad spot.No excuse.Chart caller missed this one.
Definitely does not want any part of a horse outside of him.He backed right out of there once the outside horse got to his eye.Looks like the horse wears a 3/4 cup blinker and I could not tell if it had a diamond or not.Would definitely go to a full cup ,no diamond, on that outside eye but I had 25+ years to make those decisions.
HA HA,look at me .Training from the cheap seats.
                          I used to hate that.
I will shut up and let the trainer train his own horse.
