I have been away the last 2 weeks going over my results and I worked out what I was doing wrong one of the ratings I was suing through my spreadsheet was feeding it off the horses all time rating and nots its last race rating,hense messing everything up.

I have also decided to leave the jumps racing alone until its season is in full swing which I have another angle at picking those from

... but not bad ..... you really need a good month or two at least before you chop/change a system .... what kind of strike rate, profit/loss did it show in the back-testing?

What it is JW is I have 7 months worth of flat racing results (1st,2nd 3rd) on a spreadsheet with filters such as Speed ( course, going, distance, LTO) and Rating ( course, going, distance, LTO), plus other filters as in weight penaltys, course and distance wins and Race Types. I have filtered all this down to try and find the best winning formula, I ended up having a relook at this and seeing if there was any way to make the bets more minimum but with a greater return.

I may have started this new thread too early as I didnt take into acocunt race types until a few days ago and found that certain stake races didnt work.

Yesterday I included two Group races which both lost and will start a little study on the group races.

Today I have the following bets:

Much much better today and we nearly had 3/3 but Robbie Burnett just coudlnt find the extra yards and was beaten on the bounce of the line
