#41Zenyatta will have her hands full on Sunday. This race has a small field with a really good horse in St. Trinians.
I love Zenyatta, but this race could be difficult for her because of "no pace".
This would be the one time I go against the champ.
100$ exacta cold. St. Trinians over Zenyatta.Comment -

#42I know Get Serious set a track record last year in a turf race at monmouth, he was also the horse that pressed Big Brown the entire trip in the race they made for him on the turf 2 years back, not a bad horse, especially when he gets the frontComment -

#51Ended up going with $200 on Zenyatta to win, also hit the tri for $10.
Was going to put in $8 on the super that hit, but literally missed out on it by like 5 seconds
Lost $12 on a couple of other super's...Comment -

#54Although the fire that I was so lucky too see,up close, in the eyes of Ruffian at Monmouth Park as a 2 year old, will NEVER be matched,
And as much as I want to say she was the best female I ever saw race, Zenyatta is making it impossible to keep saying.
I was told that true greatness needs no more than a "D bit"( the simplest of all bits) in their mouth.
They do the rest.
She did it again today and looking at her face, ears, stride, and effort, their was plenty left.
Very intelligent horse. She measures the competition.
Shocking.

#57Hail to the Queen! I soooo can't stand Mike Smith, he can't save ground any better than that, plus going so wide? I think a 129 lb monkey on Big Z would have done better tactically, but I digress from an outstanding record breaking performance of 17 wins in a row and no losses.Comment -

#58Never understood the whole adding weight to a horse. Seems like an olld way to do things. Think it should be eliminated. We want to see who the fastest horse is. Can you imagine them doing this in track and field?Comment -

There is no way they could get started again. In THAT race he did the only thing that would have been acceptable , given the way the race shaped up.
If he had gotten her stopped, he would have been out of racing in 6 months.Comment -

#60You can just tell how bad horse racing is dying for a super horse as the announcers had a lovefest today. Still a good race.Comment -

#61Will not question the Mike Smith overall discussion( completely agree),but when a horse carries that much weight (and please , not the 124, 4 and up maiden stuff), but Forego type weight against solid competition, no jock in the world would be caught dead getting stopped.

#62I bet 60 win on St. Trianians when she was 4/1 and a saver exacta 5/2. Lost 24 bucks. Had a noticed the late action I may have restructured the bet. I took a shot to beat the Queen and it didn't happen. I thought I was a winner inside the eight pole. Great race.Comment -

#63Zenyatta looked liked she wanted to mess with our hearts today, but did anyone notice the tote change in the last click? Went from 1/5 before the last horse went in to 1-2. Someone must have really liked St. Trinian

#64There was never any doubt today...the scary race was at Del Mar last year when Lethal Heat would not die at the rail...at first glance it didn't look like Zenyatta got up that day. Nice win yesterday Rachel, pfft.Comment -

#70Going to probably be less than 100. My guess would be 96-99 because this race was actually slower than last years and her length of margin was less than last year. Speed figures dont really mean too much, as numbers really wont tell you who will cross the line first. Also, front runners tend to garner bigger numbers as they can control the pace which is not fair to a super horse like Zenyatta.Comment
