I find it interesting that you like Jackson Bend as I just posted in another thread that I see him as the rabbit here and was wondering if you also see the horse going out front and if so, are you sure the horse can last as Super Saver will not be far behind. Lookin At Lucky is my main pick but I hate the jockey move at this point. Caracortado could upset and makes a real good box with Lucky and Super.

Paddy O'Prado ran a great race in the Derby and got beat out by a neck when Super Saver came strong at the end. I think both are solid plays here, maybe for a exacta box.

Schoolyard Dreams may be worth a look too.

after looking further this week, i decided that lucky is not winning the preakness may get a piece of pie and i dont think super saver wins preakness either.

i do think one of the following does win the preakness:

now the fun part starts trying to put tickets together

i also have the black eyed susan double down to the 1-6-9 in the susan friday to my top 4 horse in preakness.

im leaning more to the 6-9 in susan with 2-6 in the preakness for the double

i was big on paddy o for the derby. what i lost on win futures i made back on match races, but i feel the mud played a large roll in his performance. unless we have another sloppy track i think i am stearing clear.

I think Super Saver lays over this field from a pace perspective. Also, with the Derby being exactly 1 point of development off his 2 year old top (using Thorograph) I think he's primed for a monster race. Pletcher is very solid the following race after coming within 1 point of a horse's previous top. I think Super Saver rolls this field.

The time to play against him is in the Belmont with the Triple Crown on the line imo. That's the day to make the score. Best of luck to everyone.

I just finished capping the whole Pimlico card for Saturday. Put the extra work into the Preakness and I just really like Paddy O'Prada to take it home.

I have it going 10-8-6-12.

I think Super Saver will be competitive but I just dont think hes an exceptional horse, I think he won the derby in the slop because he had a clean ride. Jackson Bend had a horrible ride and never got the chance to get going, in my opinion he was saved for this race. I think Dublin could be in the mix if hes able to make up the ground and he will be used in the exotics.

Default Preakness predictions
I know its early in the week yet, but i looked at the pre pps so far and here are two $1 trifecta keys i may play in the preakness.

First one is:
Looking at lucky ----key over
dublin
jackson bend
schoolyard dreams
a little warm
super saver

second one is:

looking at lucky
dublin
paddy o prado
super saver

at the beginning of the week, i was looking at charts of some of the horse and picked a few then but after reviewing all the charts for the preakness all my highest figures go to super saver, then comes schoolyard dreams, then jackson bend, then dublin. im gonna play a trifecta usuing super saver on top over next 3 horses with all and same with schoolyard dreams.
as for my jackson bend, i was figuring, i'll use him in the special double friday with the 9 and 6 and will play a saver in preakness with jackson bend over 5 horses for $1` trifecta key

Made final determination this morning after knowing post positions.
I still feel Jackson Bend wil try to steal going wire to wire but will not hold even for a piece, but could.
Lookin At Lucky and Super Saver will be right behind him with Schoolyards dream running forth.
Yawanna Twist finds a spot at fifth with Caracortado settling for six.
The rest are behind and will stay there throughout.
Lucky & Super as well as the rest takes out Jackson. Yawanna & Carcortado are still contesting and moving quite well. Schoolyard is still plugging away. Super gives up to Lucky with Yawanna & Carcortado closing ground. It is close at the wire with Lucky & Yawanna.

as a shot I also have 9 Caracortado on top, Yawanna has everything needed to be there including lots of speed and form. I think that he is fastest horse in the race and never been worst then second. Great post position as well and could break out in 3rd with slim possibility of being on top.
