Ancient Wisdom in 3rd race today at santa anita as declared in above posting, had a good workout feb 17 at 4 furlongs as well as finishing 4th at 6.5 furlongs feb 7th in same company as here. He went off at 29-1 from the 9th post with neither being cool. Horse name gives me goosebumps being the reason for checking him out for the last 3 hours. Not sure how maiden can be best bet of day as always iffy especially at the long distance here. However I do like this race as seeing the favorite being out of it besides Ancient's name calling out to me. Morning line favorite 5-2 California Colonel is slow and won't hit. Has not raced since dec 27 except for a couple bad recent workouts. Warren's Mr. Lucky is garbage here. Best Bull is the garbage of the bunch here. That leaves #9, 7, & 6 out with #8 ancient in.

#3 Unusual Encounter is dropping shipper running second lifetime, and must be used. Lightly raced #2 Brown Guarani is also a must use. #5 Guadalupe Lupe is capable of hitting here only. #1 Boston Baked Bean will be right behind him. Look for #4 Cookie's Jewel to jump out front and will try to last but very doubtful. Early action should be seen on Cookie. Horse is dropping after getting respect higher up.

Final conclusion is to key #8 Ancient Wisdom on top in trifecta
8/2-3-4, 8/1-2-3-5 or 8/3/1-2-5 & 8/1-2-5/3 and for second also 2-3-4/8/1-2-3-4-5
with favorite out besides being long maiden race, will make nice payout
