Not that great of a card tomorrow 1/24 but it helps a little that what would have been heavy favorites are scratched from the 3rd(Spring Of Fame) and 4th(Tamaathul).Even with that it still looks like half of the races have 1 or 2 standouts .

He got away with a crawl while on the front end in his last race against a weak field.This race was supposed to have a livelier pace and much tougher.He was definitely a player but not as the ML favorite.

in retrospect though I have seen it a million times where everyone is a wiseguy trying to beat the vulnerable ml fave and that is usually when they are most likely to win.


I thought Arthur's Tale looked best that race.Coat was very healthy.

Tomorrow 1/31/13 is a really tough card at Meydan.Probably the best betting card so far at the carnival but hard to throw anyone out.

They don't make anything with running lines.I use Timeform racecards for all European racing , they have free ones available through brisnet or amwestentertainment but they are pretty bad.

4-Jamr(9-2)Likely to go off higher than 9-2 and has been facing tougher.Jock/Trainer are 11 of 14 ITM together last 12 months.
2-Royal Empire(3-1)Also goes 3rd off the bench for Godolphin who have a strong hand with the 2,7,and 5.

7-Daddy Long Legs(15-1)Feels like a trap but got to include him at this price.At his best he should be around 5-1 here.
1-Moonwalk In Paris(8-1)Ajtebi was once in line for big things before Desouza/Barzalona came along.Makes the most of his mounts and this horse was very good in France last year.
6-Saamidd(20-1)Taking a stab that this one loves synthetic where he ran huge in his only race over it.
11-Derbaas(20-1)If I'm swinging for the fence have to include this guy at a big price and has some competitive races.

Well couldn't get any bombs to hit ,Hit chalky exacta in the 1st,Mikhail Glinka ran well to place in the 2nd,and Deauville Prince just missed the money in 3rd at 24-1.Moonwalk In Paris won at 7-1 in the 4th, scratches decimated my picks in the 5th and was all wrong in the 6th except for Dormello who was ITM at 21-1.

Did win a contest on DW 1st of 17 to make the day half decent.

Only played Pick 3 in race 1 because didn't think there would be any value but it paid huge considering the winners.Everyone must have singled Igugu.

Damn missed Unbridled Ocean.Should have been able to get that one.Pletcher had for his first 4 starts then moved him to Bill Mott for a race before going off to Dubai over the winter.R Mullen 23 for 27 ITM at Meydan last 12 months with 9 wins and when riding for S Seemar 37 for 47 ITM with 16 wins overall.
