If I remember.....(hard at times) Des bought the colt for $45,000 at the Jug Sale. After the win in the Pace he went on to Stand Stud in England

nice..do you (or anybody)know what a mid-range stud fee is for harness..for the t'breds it's right out in the open in the pp's but not for the trotters..be interested who's the highest also ??

Sadly the best of the best passed away in 2018 - Somewheresomebeach - an amazing horse - true champion. Stud Fee was $20,000.00. His get are doing really well which is good news for the strain. This is his greatest race in my opinion -

thought you might find this one little interesting..things I see

ray handal a former assistant to AD*..also owns the horse (wouldn't have bothered if this wasn't the case)

*AD =Anthony Dutow

claimed for $7.5k at turfway (poly) and was wearing blinkers first time..didn't do much ..they come off for this race and he's a first time gelding

the churchill races 2 and 3 back would put him in the hunt here..best route jockey in the race aboard



**outside posts do better in oaklawn routes


nice worked up to this race..some very slow but a few also very solid

Yes, my wife and I spent lot's of summers there. Best food we found, restaurant by the name of Mud City, N of AC - route 9 I think. Hit hard a few years back with the Hurricane, but nice re-built.
