3rd start of the year and finally getting to go his preferred distance of 6F. He was an odd vet scratch at the gate on 3/7 but has been fine since. Draws the rail and will get a great trip.

her last race reminded me of the race she ran in the starlet 3 back..fairly close to the pace (lengths behind ) and faded..then followed up with an allowance win..that time of year that could just as easily have been a listed stakes as not many 3yo only allowances are scheduled..so you have a similar situation here dropping to a listed stakes..both stakes were fast par wise for their time of year

probably odds on.. some might say (and they might be right) that bringing him to tampa after just missing in the same condition at gulfstream a bad sign.. but I think they just found a 3yo only nw1x spot (uncommon) and have a horse whose ready to go.. believe connections big bucks so they're not worried about much smaller purse
