#247I think the #6 Qian (shipping 200 miles east from river , is up your alley)

Saturday
I think you might be interested in a few:
R1: 5-2-3
R4: honestly don’t think the #3 can loose galloping backwards
R13: 5-2-7
But the maidens on Travers day , feel chalkyComment -

tough to beat those stonewall farm homebreds..they have kentucky pedigrees and are running mostly against much lesser company..my only other would be #3 pipes who actually cost a lot of money relative to his breeding..bred for turf and win early..but no value on either of these..you'll get a nice price with yours and that trainer can get them to win 1st out..but I looked at it earlier and decided to passComment -

#249going to look at travers day tomorrow but realize the big outfits save their big guns (maidens) for travers under card which often times means underlays

#253del mar
R1 #6 don'teatmycookies (7-2)
useful debut at 1 level above showed speed and a fairly even fade.. could see better effort here vs lesser with that under her belt.. no problem with this up for 40k with her pedigree
R8 #9 my midnight affair (15-1)
like at a price with another drop and stretching out and surface switch.. trainer10-4-1-1 at the meet so farLast edited by JBEX; 08-24-18, 08:34 PM.Comment -

#254saratoga friday
R4 #5 seven jewels (8-1)
"off a beat slow, greenly" was the chart callers comment.. I think the resulting running line is a great set up race to stretch out off.. the winners figure in that race (2yof sb msw) was above the par for a 2yof sb stakes so that was a fast race she exited..she went off 3-1 in that race and the winner went on to repeat in her next start
some trainer stats.. brad cox
356/29%.. 46-90 days off
85/34%.. first race on grass
91/29%..first try route
big brown/too much bling mare... above avg turf but below avg class ..cost 10k and dam was a minor stakes winner at a small circuit track ..this to me about neutral info but other stuff like very much
#4 tiztinabella (12-1) half unit
gleaves has won with a big price debuter on turf according to the trainer stats and I believe (but not sure) it was at this meet.. sire and dam sire above avg turf influences
R11 #5 good old boy (12-1)
really feel this one a hidden gem..4 career starts beginning as a 2yo
no blinkers broke slow debut...
adds them breaks from 11 post ,shows speed beyond the eighth pole on a very fast pace..
breaks slow from rail and looks like a rough trip
1 start as a 3yo in january (dirt)and did nothing
5.5f turf dropping to mcl seems like a good move..dam sire nashwan who's strictly euro turf..
gets irad whose 2/3 riding for maker last 60..sure at least one, maybe both at saratoga

#256saratoga ... saturday
R1.. triple 256/1/7 and 256/7/1 smaller
trying to beat chad brown firster (#1) with the 3 most likely ones to do it.. #7 STRONG UNION (12-1) is a lukas first time starter and to say he's dreadful with them is an understatement . how about 1/97 going back 3 years.. but the horse he has cost $650k and was the most expensive yearling of 66 sold by union rags last year.. works are slow as hell at saratoga and most of them at churchill the same with a couple of 3f bullets from small tab the exception.. just hard to imagine they'd run just for the heck on the travers undercard and lukas has come in 2nd 9 times in 28 starts at the meet..going to try and get him underneath
R4 #7 social paranoia (9-2)
dont normally like to go with horses with good dirt form in maiden turf races because it's too obvious.. going to break that rule here due to the above average turf pedigree and what looks like a nice slightly off the pace running style...post a positive also
R11 #10 uncle larry (8-1)
pletcher msw to mcl 132/36% wow.. not an ultra expensive horse making first turf attempt. and the drop should really help.. think he'll be below 5-1
dmr
R4 #7 untouched elegance (6-1)
R5 #2 springtime dance (20-1)

#262saratoga
R2 #10 choate bridge... first time starter (fts)
home bred with a very nice pedigree top and bottom.. dam stakes placed, 4 winners from as many starters and 3 of those won on turf including 1 stakes winner . trainer avg and below avg stats in this category ..that's good imo as it helps with the price
#2 trish the dish (8-1) half unit
R5 #6 wheedle (12-1) (fts)
not going to go over the whole thing but just say big time specs along the lines of what I look for
in fts
R10 #2 spa jazz (5-1)
del mar
R4
there are 3 mega expensive horses (fts) in here and all of them besides being so pricey are also expensive relative to the specs.. don't remember ever seeing this situation
#2 tale of the union (5-2) baffert/van dyke.. $925k
#3 mucho gusto (8-1) baffert/talamo...$625k
#5 harmon (6-1)gallagher/Smith.. $500k
#2.. dam sire tale of the cat way above average fts
#3.. going to give him a shot on top also
#5.. gallagher horrible fts 1/42
exacta 23/235 my stand will be no 3 horse box.. have a hunch at least one of these will be a big time runner

if these were older experienced horses the 9 (2nd)comes down for the start.. if the 9 broke straight ahead 10 probably wins @ 24-1(3rd)Comment -

#268saratoga monday
R1 #2 brett's legacy (5-1)
R2 #4 winter union (4-1)
R3 #3 miss jackie g (15-1)
nothing to do with capping.. 4 and the 5 this race are by the same sire and cost the same at auction.. that's like wearing a t shirt you haven't worn in 20 years and some one standing in front of you at the supermarket wearing the same one lol
R9 #4 surge of pride (7-2) fts
feel this a weak bunch of newbies.. homebred with a sire whose way above avg first turf and first out..dam unraced and this is first foal to race.. like the fact the dam sire is bernardini which usually
means there's some quality in the female bloodline.. irad ortiz aboardLast edited by JBEX; 08-27-18, 02:10 PM.Comment -

#6 chantry flats (10-1) scratch
#8 carom (8-1) half unit scratch
both fit my ex/ped angle and both also ran halfway decent
last out on the turf..like that mine (6)was coming off a long layoff and was on the lead in a fast pace last out and held pretry well..should benefit from that effort..the others 2 tries were decent and jose ortiz rides..interesting that franco (6's jockey) rode the 8 in his only 2 starts and elects to ride the other..I think it's because he does a lot more business with that trainer than the lower volume trainer of the 8 ,ribauldo
R5 #3 fiveinthemorning (6-1)
5 career starts and 2 good sprint efforts..others without getting specific there are legit excuses..castellano jumps aboard and he's 2 for 3 with this trainer past 60 days
R7
#5 poppy's destiny (9-2) fts
pedex lol.. extremely expensive for pedigree.. dam was a stakes winner but it was at northland park..
#1 wild boar (12-1) fts half unit
pedex with a way above average first out sire.. above avg dam sire and dam was a winner.. if other too low this one a nice bet at a price
R10 #8 lem me tell ya (15-1)this is a decent field of maidens .. his lines are not bad at all and wouldn't be shocked at all if he took it scratch
del mar
R4 #1 irish spirit (12-1) scratch
a $310k curlin stretching out for his 2nd start..even with how expensive curlin is as a sire that's a lot of money..this horse was bought as a yearling in 2016 and his fee was lower than making the price more meaningful.. the stud fee they paid in 2015 was $25k and his current fee is $150k..obviously curlin's done well (I am bad at remembering specific horses).. trainer mccarthy good in many applicable categories today.. rail is excellent in routes at dmr
