as bad as those races are I consider then useful for a 3 level drop and stretchout. only cost 12 so up for 10k doesn't concern me

R3 #3 whoopde do charlie (10-1)

another stretchout but only 1 level drop in a 10k maiden claimer. .think his running lines set him up nice to do so..trainer has excellent numbers in many applicable categories

R5 #4 ghazi's stone (20-1)

two wins off similar lines to last..just have to overcome the 0/41 jockey but that'll just add to the price

R6 #7 zipped code (5-1)

reclaim by solid trainer farro..at least 1/19 last 20 bur feel could be effective at this level of beaten claimers

R9 #9 r shade of gray (8-1)

another reclaim a few starts back. .shown signs of life but still obscure enough to get a price

nice hit..I kicked myself afterwards about yours..his pace figs winning the 10k mdn 2 back were real fast and he won comfortably ..probably needed last from the rail which threw everybody off although he wasn't brought
back for 5 weeks after that race..you'd think sooner..lost in the woods lately. .couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a baseball

Thx. Yeah I saw there was a lot of speed in the race and thought since he had presser 4 speed he might sit the good trip breaking from the outside. Also his win 2 back came from post #10. And he was rated 2nd on Brisnet Prime power. It's a bit cold in JBEX land but think you are due to hit a nice shot soon. Really believe you and I battle on to the end.

dry spells are part of the deal with this..can't avoid it..would like to finish with adjusted 90 or higher
so that's a challenge in itself..don't use the prime power ratings but like to know how they're made ..gonna read up on it

Did you find any Info? I find the Prime Power effective to use especially if a longshot is rated high. Just another bullet to add to your arsenal imo.

haven't looked yet..I'm guessing class ratings,speed ratings at the distance surface stuff like that..I always like to consider all 10 races when I handicap so would probably be something I could use

NO problem. Hart confirm when you get a chance if you agree. Really like capping muddy tracks JBEX, but realize you have an aversion to the surface. GL.

Probably concentrate on PARX as I find handicapping in the slop can lead to some nice overlays. I use the breeder ratings for an off track with the Brisnets to help narrow it down. The Tomlinson figures from DRF are another resource one can use. I understand JBEX's dislike of a muddy track because it does add another major element to one's handicapping especially if the horse has never run on it before.
