    Wagering issue at book
So I have a question for you guys. Small bettor.. I placed a wager on pick4 at a small track and according to the book the stated the wager was 15 sec after the race went off. I told them it was put in before the race went but I guess it was like a 20 sec delay w the wager anyway The wager was accepted without any problems. (Note I usually get the message saying "race off" if wager was not accepted and race went off) The pick 4 wound up hitting and paying $793.00 book took 4 hrs to grade it and canceled it 4 hrs later

Now just wanted opinions since obviously bet was accepted and those 15 seconds had ZERO outcome of that race nor the next 3 races in the pick 4..

The book canceled the wager and said I was in the wrong. Thoughts?

    Thanks

Hello, I'm curious to know the books software. You don't have to name the book, rather can you identify the horse software?

For example the SBR book uses DGS horse software. Another well known horse software is the one Heritage uses and also 5 Dimes uses it as their rebate version.

From my experiences most of the past posting issues are related to the DGS software. If your wager isn't graded somewhat after the race, there is a good chance they'll treat it as possibly past posted. Was there any possible extra circumstances with the bet that may stick out to them? Something like a bomb winning the first leg, and you betting a lot of horses in the remaining 3 legs? Did chalk break at the gate, etc.?

Matt from SBR didn't even entertain my complaint..

To answer you question robpink yes it was DGS software and it was a harness track and the dead chalk won the 1st leg of the pick 4 paying a whopping $4.00 to win.

The prices in my ticket came in 2nd leg and last leg of the pick 4.

I'd rather not say the book but it's one of the best ones.
