Playing both McPeek's horses in the first- The #5 and the #7. They both fit the profile of horses who have won this race before.

I always feel I landed on a horse for good reason but historically Keeneland is a bad track for me, especially the first couple days.I use pace figures combined with drf and go down to AC once or twice a month.

Most of the time I look for longshots that have just short of competitive figures compared to the favorites but their pace figures show that they didn't empty the tank acquiring the competitive figs.

Used Jeremy Plonk's analysis on the Keeneland website. He gives historical reasons to back a horse. Did not work out this time.

what do you thing of rose to gold in the feature been watching replays over the last hour
and grandstand in the 4th both at kneenland ,rose to gold has been a monster ...winning with ease, but yes a tougher field......like the 1 also in that race...let me know...and give a shout out next time you come to my home town,...ill handicapp with you.

Yeah hard to bet a firster going 1 1/6 although Maker is the equal of a Pletcher/Baffert when his horses run in Kentucky and the winner of the 2nd didn't make a whole lot of sense beside taking money on the tote. Maybe trends are the way to go because using my normal routine doesn't seem to work at Keeneland or most synth tracks.Arlington is the only one that I do just as well at.

Grandstand looks playable but think 6-1 is a little short but may drift up because Breaking Ball's last race towers over the field.

Rose to Gold would be a complete guess. You never know if dirt form will transfer over to the polytrack and the horses she was trouncing would be an underlay at 99-1 in this field. That said if she can run just as well on this surface and taking the huge jump in class then 6-1 is more than fair.
