I prefer set bets for every race. Like Easy stated above.

$2 3 horse Exacta Box (although this tends to be all or nothing, if one race pays HUGE)
If you want to spend more time grading, you could go with

anything would be great..I dont have any great ideas but I have always wanted to do a Breeders cup DRAFT..pick a horse, go in order, draft a team and then most WPS gets the prizes..but that takes lots of time..unless everyone put in their own private LIST! then a random draft order and we all have a team..that easy..maybe 12 horse each or something if 10 want in...Comment -
You can think of trying this:
Pick one horse for each race that you think will win.
If that horse wins you receive 5 basis points
If it runs 2nd you receive 3 basis points
If 3rd you receive 1 basis point.
In addition to the win award of 5 basis points 1 point will be added for each amount of odds that the winner went off.
For instance, the winner was 3-1 . That awards 3 additional points for a total of 8 points.
40-1 awards 40 points + the 5 for winning for a total of 45 points.
Have everyone put up whatever points amount you want. Non pros need to transfer early and often to be paid up before BC day.
Payouts to the winners will be just like purse money.
60% for 1st
22% for 2nd
12% for 3rd
6% for 4th
