Sorry for the delay. Here is the answer/my comments to the second paragraph: Back to back games are a part of the selection process used. I generally do NOT play spreads for the N.H.L. for the simple reason, each goal is worth so much - not the 1 point it gives a team but the value for scoring/of it. Yes, a case can be made for or against a team using a similar thought process but really it's much easier to `cap the N.H.L. looking for a winner (first) or a total (second) in my opinion. If you go the "+" route, I hope you cash. Incase you did not read it, I am on CHI tonight. This does not mean you should change your selection (never let a person change your mind if you believe in your work).

No apologies needed for the delay. My original thought was CHI on the ML, however being my home team, I usually look for every reason to not play them. Its a late game, so I need not make a decision about this right now. I have my fair share of NCAA BB going, as I don't need to force a play here.

PIT did get the win, doesn't matter if they lead from the first period or get the game winner in the shootout because a win is a win is a win and a lose is just that.
Sorry you missed out on the All-Star Game action. Worry not, there are plenty of games left for the season.
Rustiness happens more than people realize and I can appreciate your concern of it. ANA was on the back half of back-to-backs after scoring 7 and have an educated guess they can not put forth that kind of effort on a daily basis.
It may sound simple, but don't go to your books site or contact your local when you want some time off. The other item worth mentioning is, have the will power to not do it.
