Did you see Brodeur in the last few games? Guy is lights out right now. Pittsburgh might stop them but to me even that's unlikely. Devils to win it all is safe as it gets.

Never said the best team is the Flyers but no way the Devils get past the Rangers in the second round if there are no other upsets, seeding wise.

last 2 games were good. 3 games ago gave up 4 goals in 20 shots. 5 games ago gave up 4 goals on 27 shots. 7 games ago gave up 4 goals. 8 games ago gave up 5 goals. but yes he did face lot of shots vs PIT.

Brodeur is good, but not like he has been putting up brian elliott or cory schneider numbers.

i question devils goal production in their 3rd and 4th lines. Have 2 great top lines... but to win cup you need really good 3rd line and a good 4th line too.

look at bruins last year. top line (lucic, krejci, horton) 2nd line (bergeron, marchand, recchi) had a great 3rd line with Seguin/kelly, Ryder, peverley. bruins had goaltending too. but they also had 4 lines of depth.

devils have a great top 2 lines. but i'd like to see how their 3rd and 4th line play in the playoffs.

True. Anything can happen in the Playoffs, in 2010 the 7th and 8th seeds were playing each other in the ECF but to say the Devils are the best team in hockey is a stretch to me.

Got them 30-1 a few weeks back when i saw their good chance of meeting florida 1st round.
