Dallas Stars ML +180

Dallas has a backup starting and Canucks just lost at home and also lost to Dallas in OT recently in Dallas. Dallas coming off 2 straight wins.

I'm liking the Canucks here.

I don't bet big juice games, taking my chances within regulation.

Out of my 4 plays today, even though Vancouver has the highest ML, it's the one I'm least confident about.

I agree, Vancouver overrated, but the back up in for Dallas and Luongo's overall excellent play lately scare me a little.

Wouldn't that seem to indicate you should just skip it as a play? That's a lot of chalk for a play you are not too confident about.

I know, you're right, but it's a system play and I'm just trying to be diligent and follow it.

confirmed on goaliepost.com Stars goalie will be Richard Bachman and Canucks goalie will be Roberto Luongo.

If Luongo plays as badly as he did vs Buffalo, it won't matter. Bachman has a 9.16 save % which is decent.

Going to go with an OT play on this one, can get it at +320 and see this being pretty low scoring with whatever team that is down late pushing hard to tie it up.

I was staying away from this game but i do like dallas +1.5 goals here and a small unit on the ML with dallas. Sad part was they was just a couple weeks away from trade deadline and now that dallas has came back alive they dont know if they are trading like they thought they was going to a few weeks back.

i like the canucks +180 is too high for a team on such a good scoring streak. dallas beat vancouver their last meeting, how is this not an auto play at +180 especially the way vancouver has been playing/ and or going into OT

Don't underestimate bachman he is a very good goaler not as good as lehtonen but a very good back up. Stars play a style that frustrates canucks but need morrow in van dirty.

Can see your point I suppose. Dallas really isn't that good of a team though and were lucky to win last game. I think Canucks win 4-2 personally. GL though sir.

Dennis, it doesn't matter who rolls tonight. The Canucks are WELL OVERVALUED in this spot. You can't tell me you don't realize that. It doesn't matter if they win this game, at this price with the way the two teams are currently playing, betting on Dallas is the right play and profitable in the long run. Looking at it as a game to game basis will do nothing but get you into trouble.

Not recommending a bet on Canucks either. Line is that high for a reason. Yes value play is Dallas just saying IMO its highly unlikely they win tonight. Remember when STL came in same price and spot pretty much?
