I like the contrarian logic LB, but what I'm learning (oftentimes the hard way) is that hockey is a streaky sport - the Sens are white hot while the Jets are pretty shoddy on the road and seem to be scuffling in general right now.

Good luck on the play though.....nice get-back if you can steal a 3-2 win.

once again i'm baffled by the way people bet. Just wondering what makes people pick the way they do. Everything is on Senators side today-scoring, home advantage, hot streak. I would put some on the puck line and some more on the over. Two much juice on the ML but if you feel like making a little bit of money with some risk than put 3 units on the sens ml as well.

I follow the Winnipeg Jets religously. This is my take on this game.The Jets are decimated with KEY injuries. Bogosian is doubtful for tonight. He has been their best Dman this year. Yes even better than Byfuglien. Wheeler is doubtful, who has been red hot the last two months. And of course Byfuglien is definately out. They are having trouble putting the puck in the net lately. They are in their worst slump of the year. This is a definate no play if Bogosian is out. It would take a monstrous effort to get the W here. Having said that they realize that this is desperation time and they have responded well in these situations.....but these injuries might be too much to overcome. This would be only worth a unit bet. Do not go crazy. one angle I like backing the Jets is that a mush I fade daily is on the Ottawa Senators PL. Hope this helps.

No reason to be betting on the Jets tonight. I think the price is dead on, not even Jets +155 is good enough value the way both teams have been play as of late. I played the Sens ML Reg. Time only at -117. Only bet the Jets when they are at home this year. They're clearly a much better team when at their own rink.
