Nice hit with the Avalanche last night, and a clear miss with the Red Wings. The night turned with the Flyers/Stars getting 3 goals in the first period yet not finding a way over the 5.5 total. That's the difference between a winning and losing day right there. Back at it today...

Detroit 8-9 on road, Calgary 9-4 at home. Howard not yet confirmed in net. I'd imagine he would take Detroit once confirmed since he took them on the road against Vancouver yesterday. Liking Detroit ML only though.

I am playing Detroit TT over 2.5 at -140, probably good play up to -150. Like that better than the ML, esepcially if Conklin in net. Detroit is btb, but off for a few days after this one and I don't expect them to let up much tonight if they are ahead or behind. Calgary plays tomorrow.

Was very close on Detroit but couldn't pull the trigger on them. To sum it up I like them enough, but not quite enough to play it.
