Ive been burned so bad these last 2 weeks losing almost every parlay on the last leg.
I didnt learn anything and didnt hedge on any of my games which led to me losing way to much.

Time to bring down the bet size and get back to the basics. Picking Winners

Starting Bankroll $100
Book: Bodog
Goal: To reach $300 and cashout $200... then repeat.
Unit size: Straight Bets $10 Parlays $2-$5 Futures $5

I will do my best to stick to only betting 1 unit per game but may occasionally have a Game of the Week where i bet 2 units.

2 months ago i turned 18 and got so excited to finally gamble legally in ontario i forgot the basics and lost a bit.
Time to regroup and move Forward.

Thoughts November 8th!

Montreal has scored the first goal in there home games 5 out of 7 times. 4 of those 5 times they went on to lose the game!

They are currently 1-6 in the first period on the -.5 prop Oilers +.5 at (1.49) atm and they have yet to enter the 2nd period of a road game down a goal

Buffalo is 5-2 at home scoring the first goal. there home games average 2.1 goals in the 1st period i like buffalo to be up 2-0 or 2-1 in the first period making the 1st Period -.5 @+115 a damn good play!

the problem why u lose is because u play to many games .. stick to one game with a little higher price .. going 1-0 is better than 2-1 .. u at least dont lose any juice on the game unless u pick 3 underdogs

i completely disagree 10 games is to many 1 game is to little.

Its about picking winners and getting top value. If i like 3 games but i only pull the trigger on my top play. what if that losses and my other 2 win. 2-1 is better then 0-1

Edmonton started the season winning 5 straight games and have cooled off since while Calgary has won their last 3 games since changing their starting quarterback to Drew Tate. Of those 3 wins, 2 came against Winnipeg and Montreal.

But we have had success in doing so. This season is early, and it seems alot of us have not gotten the right feel for the teams....but the dust is starting to settle, and the feel is coming back.
