Wallco NHL GOLD (+453 units in 6 years) -
Sportsbook Review Forum
Sure he does ... and he appreciates corrections from others.
I've followed many chases, but never blindly. Regarding #99 ... I'm choosing not to get in front of the "freight train" that is the Pittsburg Penguins. I'll take the loss of A and B and move on to the next chase. I'm not recommending this ... I'm just prompting others to consider the option of "modification" while following a chase.
Thank again Wallco!

You do know that the Penguins roster is depleted right now, right? The Rangers should have won it and almost did. They were one shootout goal away from you not even posting this.

This is the perennial problem of playing systems. Once you bring in sporting factors, the system is compromised. Occasionally it is the right thing to do, but sometimes the stats prove that sporting factors can be overcome by good/bad fortune during the game itself. I play and stick to the systematic approach because it makes my brain hurt too much if I try to handicap the teams and players, etc. I'm on the C Bet.

This is single largest bet I have placed yet but I feel this is a good spot to run with it. I passed on Vancouver C bet few days ago vs Edmonton because it just didn't feel right no matter what the system said. Now gets go WILD!!!!

Ya shes over boys. oh well. i thought this system could supplement my own hockey bets. But with out that super hot start( which i was mostly not part of) this system is losing me money. I do like it still, maybe come back in the future. good luck to all.

Wallco NHL GOLD 2013-14 System to date: 97-4 (fin. series) System profit/loss: +3.92 units (fin. series) Current open series: 1 (-4.62 units)
(12/19/13): #99 Minnesota (+1½) v1(C) - Loss #100 Ottawa (M/L) v1(B) - Loss #102 Detroit (M/L) v2(A) - Win
Games for (12/20/13): #100 Florida @ Winnipeg (M/L) v1(C)(8:05 pm EST) #103 Anaheim @ New Jersey (+1½) v1(A)(7:05 pm EST)
Do not place any wagers on teams unless you are sure your team is the dog or favorite. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the team we are betting on, regardless of v1 or v2. If you play the closer line games too early, you may be overpaying for a loss if you play the P/L and should have been on the M/L, or lose a game that you would have won had you been on the (+1½) instead of the M/L. We will always play the M/L on favorites and games when the line is (-110/-110) or (-105/-105), and always play the (+1½) if the team we are betting on is a dog. ALL results will be based on this principle. If it is a close line game, you may want to wait til closer to game time to place your wager so you know whether or not we are on the (+1½) or the (M/L). All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com/. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, or vice versa, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team on ScoresandOdds.com/ final lines. System rules and backtest can be found in posts #2446 & #2447.

With the recent losses in NBA and NHL my bankroll is looking very thin.. Winnipeg better bring it tonight! I refuse to lose money to Florida!!! Was also wondering how this NHL system will fare next season with bottom teams perhaps looking to lose on purpose to get a shot at drafting Connor McDavid. Anyways I'm having a lot of fun with this system so thank you Wallco!

I do feel for you but trying to predict when a system will have a "hot streak" is just as, if not more, difficult than trying to handicap teams. If you want to make money you have to ride out the loosing streaks and take the long term approach. Anyways good luck to you!

I'll disagree with that. Actually it's sort of easy with this system as I mention a month ago. Riding a system down is just dumb. I'm not blaming Wallco at all, I love this system but when things are getting complicated AS I SAID A MONTH AGO - you relax and save what you have won by being more conservative. It's called using your brain and not betting like a blind monkey. It's handicapping a system as opposed to a game.
I lost one "C" game here and think I was stupid for losing it because I knew we were heading into turbulent waters. We were way over the moving average and do for a downturn. I run my own NBA chase system and am in the same pickle as Wallco is but up 68u so I have some leeway still.
IF you want to make money the REAL key is NOT losing - winning is easy, NOT losing is the hard part. I have so many systems all over Portland tomorrow its nuts but I'm not blindly following my own system.
Sorry - I believe there are times to just step back and ask yourself if you want to win a few? or lose a LOT. You get rich slowly not overnight.
stepping down from my soapbox and slinking away into the crowd once again.

With proper bankroll management, one can take the ride all the way to the end.
With proper thinking, one could have decided to take the A bet loss and NOT pay -300 on Rangers for a B bet.
As I decided...

For those interested, series that chase teams over .530 and fade teams under .470 are 19-0. These are the only series I've been playing from here, as I have a lot of other systems that I follow. The breakdown:
19-0
A games:14-5
B games:1-4
C games: 4-0
I'm pretty certain that last year went undefeated on these plays, though I'm not sure how many series there were.

I agree to an extent. There's no way of telling whether it's variance or if there is any edge at all compared to playing all of the series.
That said, every system I've tracked for baseball has seemed to work better when filtering out the best/worst teams. It's also way more comforting to make bets when you know you're chasing the Penguins as opposed to the Sabres.
People who only follow this system would probably be better off playing all of the series. However, it works for me.

Has Calgary lost their last 3 ATS? Might make this a relatively rare same-game V1 and V2 (fade Pit, chase Cal).
EDIT: nvm, forgot we closed the Penguins series already in that Thursday C game.
