Keep in mind I am a Sabres fan. MTL is a tough place to play but Miller rested is definitely a plus. I don't think this is easy money though.

this is a good point. desperation leads to hard work and determination.

vanek is just so nasty. then he has miller to back him up. montreal has not really shown me much of anything so far this year but i think youre right that they want to win badly.

I would call that a push at best. Miller had a "down" year last season coming off of a Vezina. Price was better stat wise last season though. Miller has a killer D in front of him now which should bring him back to form.

Miller is better than price, not by far but is clearly the better goalie. Shouldnt even be debatable.

Price is a very good young goalie... one of the best transactions done by the canadiens in the last 10 years.
the problem with carey is that hes not well surrounded, meaning the canadiens Defence sucks.
miller is a good goalie also dont get me wrong, but hes surrounded by a good defence which helps alot.
Give Price a good D and a half decent offence and that teams a sure pick to reach the semi finals.

ML all the way on this. With how the Canadiens been playing and who is out for tonight you have to go Buffalo. If this game was mid season Buffalo would be a lot higher of a fav here. They have just a few games here to go by and was the line is so close

Miller fluked a Vezina by 2 years ago and is now thought of as an elite level goaltender. It happens quite often actually, just the way the human brain is programmed. His "down year" last year is actually playing to his career average. Perhaps his Vezina year was just an "up year" and not the other way around?

I am a Habs fan here- Buffalo always plays well in the Bell Center. I personally think Buffalo forwards are going to outplay our D big time tonight. Carey will have to have a big game for the Habs to win.

Horrible effort by the team in the first 30 mins and then they woke up. Thank god MTL didn't take advantage and get a big lead. Nice to see we can not show up for half the game and still pull it out.
