Welcome to my winter home! The fridge is presently stocked with Molson and Labatt's, Center Ice has been purchased and we're ready for some hockey!!!
It's been an ecxiting offseason. While the FA market was rather bare there was some interesting player movement, especially in Philly, as Carter and Richards departed.
For the season I'll be betting primarily ML's and Totals but I'll throw in the occasional 1st period over or prop bet. Maybe even a puckline!
I bet with a local but will likely transition to online as well over the season to get options on lines. I don't risk a ton of money. My units are $20. My bets are to win X units on favorites and risking X units on dogs. I will also probably mix in a few plays on NFL and college football as the year progresses. These will not count towards my NHL records though.
I will admit that I am a Buffalo Sabres Fan, it is a hard thing to be, please refrain from making fun of me. I am a bit of a homer as much as I try not to be. So i will likely put a couple too many bets on them this year. You have been so warned. In fact they will be my first big play of the year. But I have a lot of faith in it.
Finally, I am also a big college hockey fan. I am a Miami University alum and I live in the college hockey hotbed that is Upstate New York. If you want to talk college puck this is the place to do it.
