In my opinion, the Play of the Day Challenge was a huge success, and a lot of fun last year. Therefore, with DG's blessing, I will go ahead and start up the 2011-2012 P.O.D. thread.
Rules
-Anyone can enter. Not limited just to "regulars."
-Entry fee of 25 SBR points. (5 to me for record keeping, 20 into prize pool for the top cappers.)
-1 SINGLE PICK each day, no parlays are allowed!
-Any type of bet is fine including: PL, ML, Totals, period totals, prop bets etc.
-All bets are flat 1 unit bets only. Eg: $100 on any dog (+100 or higher) and 1 unit on favorites, $190 to win $100 on -190 for example.
-Plays must contain complete info (Date, Bet, and Line), and be posted before gametime. (Oct 7: Chicago/Colorado O5.5 -120)
The game is simple. Players can join anytime throughout the season, and can start making picks as soon as their entry fee is paid. You are allowed to, but don't have to, make one play each day. Contest starts October 6, and ends April 7. Standings will be updated as often as possible.
Let the games begin!
