The Pens did the exact same thing. I honestly couldn't believe that this would happen twice in one day. I'm real sorry DG. It's an awful day. I know my Pens at least got you plenty of hedge money on the O1.5 [1st] plays. Hang in there. I have also apparently found that I am a fantastic NBA capper, just if you're interested.

disagree DG. They played well. It was extremely exciting to watch. Wow what a game. No Kessler goals in 17 games. Sedin scores on the breakaway to make it 2-0 and we are playing game 6 tomorrow. There are a lot of good teams in the league (just ask NYR and NJ and Detroit) and the Canucks effort can't be criticized. It takes a lot of luck and a lot good breaks to go your way to make it all the way to the finals. While I am definitely heartbroken today, the Canucks have nothing to be ashamed of. I know that if they have Daniel for the whole series they would have beaten them.

Congrats to the Kings. They ain't gonna win the cup though.

For once i agree, Dwight. Not about the Canooks because i think they dont always play with full intensity and i think they were overrated. But i agree that there were a lot of good teams this year. Lot of contenders. Very even playing field. The 8-1 and 7-2 matchups have been close. Just look at the tough time NJ NYR CHI DET PIT VAN BOS have all been having.

Canucks played like shit man. There were so many moments last night and throughout the series where the entire line is all standing there stationary not moving their feet at all. I didn't see the desperation I expected. They seemed to just be hanging around hoping for a hero. We needed a guy like Kesler to step up and get us a big goal last night but everyone was MIA except the Sedins, Hansen and Schneider.

I'm still on the fence about AV. I lliked his balls starting Schneider in game 3 and then 4 and 5 as well but I have always questioned his ability to motivate. He seems to prefer to sit back and let his players run the show. We may need to explore other options and try and get a more fierce coach. Not Mike Keenan fierce but somewhere in between AV and him.

In most cases I agree but when your expectations are to win the Cup it's a huge letdown.

What's you take on the 3rd period Phoenix/Chicago DG? I'm thinking Chicago may tie it up at 1-1 and then Phoenix will go ahead to 2-1....Over 1.5 might be a good bet?
