I agree, this thread is awesome!! Wish I would have seen it or payed more attention to it a few months ago. DG you have nice picks and alot of opinion and fun conversation on here...I think I'm going Blues -1.5 and Suns +3 @ Denver 2 team parlay.. Phoenix got routed 4-0 by the Blues @ home 4 games ago before Smith went crazy with his shutouts. And that was in Phoenix. Can't see a not very good road team in Phoenix going into St. Louis and winning..

is there any point to tomorrow's games? I'd like to play the ottawa/boston over but i just don't have any experience betting at the end of the season

Tough game to cap tonight I won't be playing it. Reasons for both teams to win. If Phoenix wins they jump from 8th to 3rd in the Conference. If St Louis wins they leapfrog VAN for 1st in the West. Under would be the obvious play but these important games sometimes go way over, see SJ/LA last night. GL to all betting tonight.

Some teams have playoff positioning/home ice to play for so some games will be worth betting. Some will be completely meaningless I wouldn't go big on those ones as neither team has anything to play. A lot of the time there are some high scoring games on the last game of the year as both teams let loose and basically "have fun" out there.

Not necessarily. I go big on the series bets. Had a couple 5 and 10 unit series bets last year on the Canucks. These bets are great because there are always a couple good hedging spots in each series to limit your risk if you aren't feeling it anymore.

Yeah not that strong of a play just a standard play based on 1st period criteria I use to play them. Under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings yet the 1st period over is 8-2 in those match-ups Both teams capable of scoring in bunches so I expect a fast start.

Thanks for the rapid response! If you don't mind, is there a favorite source/site you use for info (first period scoring rank, etc.)? Getting my feet wet capping hockey, take all the input I can get. And big ups for the great end of season run. Made a lot of us money.

Wish I would have known about that link earlier this year for period totals!! Anyways I saw your post about 1st period over 1.5 for Wings/Hawks so I followed with a little research and yeah I think the last 4 matchups or so were 2-1 final or 3-1 or 3-2.... with the 1st period going over in most of those games...Detroit moneyline and under for the game. 1st period over!!
