the Pens TT set at 2.5 with heavy juice on the under was simply a trap by the books. they wanted to collect all that juice and had a hunch the devils may pull the upset...traps dont always work obviously. they probably do more times than not though. hence, so many towers that have been built on the vegas strip!!!

You mean the "heavy juice" on the under 5.5, not the Under 2.5, right?

There has to be something more than "a hunch" that makes them set such a line. I assume they have to know something we don't, right? But watching the game, I didn't see it that's for sure...unless they knew Malkin would take a slapper to the hand and they anticipated it to break his thumb rather than just make him say ouch? lol

Devils have great defense and great goaltending, plus they're killer on the road, it's a good line! Pinnacle team totals are garbage there's no options, can anyone suggest a good NHL TT book?

I'm on both and 5 dimes just follows Pinny's lead for TTs anyways. They have higher or equal juice most of the time. Still a good book though.

Tonight I'm gonna pound the u5 hard in the VAN/LA game.

This is the second last opportunity to do it this season in this situation.
VAN is 8-1 for the under on the first home game after a roadie this season...traditionally plays poorly.

All 7 VAN/LA head to head games last 2 seasons either went under or pushed (4-0-3 for the under)
LA is 40-21-14 for the under (19-9-8 on the road)

I am also liking the over 5.5 in WIN/OTT and SJ -165. Lotta chalk for SJ but I figure they will come out strong since they are fighting for a playoff spot with Colorado and they both have 86 points.

Any input on these leans would be appreciated.

Can't say much on the SJ game, but I'd probably stay away from the O5.5 for Win/Ott. I mean Winn is 5-5 in their last 10 road games and Ottawa is 7-5 in their last 12 home games so it certainly could happen. However, Winn has played in Ottawa twice this season and neither has gone over. If the line was 5, it'd be better, but certainly risky at 5.5.

I, personally, will be taking almost ANY Kings or Blues under from here on out. Combined for the season, you'd be up over 40 units taking these two teams on the under every game.

I'd be wary of the Kings U5 play. The Kings today are not the Kings that we have seen the rest of the season. I will likely be playing the O1.5 [1st] and maybe the O5 here.

LA's last 10 have hit 5+ 7 times, as have Vancouvers, so you definitely have good reason. Looking at the home/road goals, the under would be a better choice if they were playing in LA. I see this game most likely pushing either way, but I gotta stick with the under.

PHI/DET two teamer looks good. DAL/CAL who knows. CAL plays good on home ice and they might not quite be ready to roll over yet.

Both LA + VAN have averaged 2.0GA over last 5 games. LA has 3.2GF, VAN 2.0. HH the total hasn't gone over 5.5 this season or last (7 games). I agree that LA is not the same, but still worth an U.
