I have no clue how Kelly Sutherland has a job in the NHL. I remember this plug back when he reffed in the WHL. Was absolutely terrible then and still is. He calls a 2 minute misconduct in a 7-2 game during the play

The blues won tonight. The game was totally ref'd up. Some BS slashing call in the last '2' minutes... on the 'road'. Minn pulls their goalie to make it 6 to 4 and guess what happened? That's right, tied it up and sent it to OT. Then they lose in OT... If you are going to call it unfairly, at least call it unfairly for both teams. You can't just grow a moustache and become qualified to ref the NHL. I almost smashed my Tv. thinking about writing an email to the NHL.Comment -
Brutal last 3 days. Just when I was getting close to black, big set back. If you were to tell me there would be 11 goals scored in the CHI/EDM game and the Hawks wouldn't get 3......
If that would have hit would have been a +$516 day but instead ended up with a -$180 day.

I hate to be a douche and say this after u've gotten off to a poor start. But i would seriously recommend limiting your plays. 1-4 a day are fine but anything after that....
I mean, u cant seriously have an edge on 6+ plays. I had 2 plays today, Jets and the Canadiens. I know its tempting to bet a lot when their are many games, but u need to remember that ur trying to make money not have the most amount of action. Early in the season i had rough start as well so i limited my plays and became extremely picky. All the sudden my luck turned around.Comment -

up. It's not that I necessarily need a ton of action I just feel when I have 4-6 plays a day and flat bet for the most part it's the best way to counter the variance that there can be in hockey. When I have a lot of +EV (+$) plays I only need
to hit 3/5, sometimes 2/5 to show a profit. The things that are killing me are pretty obvious right now as you'll see in
my stats. I am a sucker for the juiced TTs and they've been killing me.Comment -

It's pretty clear what my strengths are right now. Totals have always been my strongest attribute and I've been doing solid on MLs bets as well.
That's part of the reason I post my individual betting breakdowns. Really wish I could quit betting my weaknesses but I'm a stubborn mofo and still think there's money to be made in those categories

Dennis, I never get the regulation bet prop with the online book. I've been laying the juice, but cover the potential loss with a win bet on the overtime prop. Guess all I'm risking then if big underdog wins in regulation. If the dog wins in overtime, it's a push and obviously if the favorite wins in overtime it's $$$$$! DG, I was about to write the same thing as the guy above. Stick to ML and Game Totals. Screw the props. I also routinely check who you're rolling with. Respect you and your picks too. Just try and focus on a few games like Ravensfan suggested. That's what I do and it seems to be more profitable. Skip the regulation bets, 25-30% of all NHL games go to OT/SO's.
