Sounds like the lineup will be the same as that of games one and two will makes sense to me. Why coaches go jamming about with a winning recipe is beyond me. Cheers lads, I'm eager for this one.

#146Both the Hawks and the Canucks haven't looked like the same team in the last 4 periods as they did in the prior 12. That said, it's only 4 periods. Even if you write this game off, and I don't think this one's over yet, both teams can revert to their prior form.Comment -

#147Is Luongo a sieve or What ????
Just blow on those Sedins and they fall over......
The Vancouver Canooks are far from the super team people make them out to be...
Detroit will have no problem beating them.....
But that series will never happen coz Canooks wont make it out of the Second Round...
Hell...Canooks will probably lose this Chicago series......

#148At least I bet on the Hawks tonightAlso threw $25 on the Hawks at +1300 to win the series before the game tonight. LOOOOOOOL. I am done as a Canucks fan if they blow this series for real.

#157LOL @ Toews post game interview also. He said: "We aren't exposing them for who they are. People are giving them too much credit."What a poor loser Toews is, I thought he was a classy guy guess not. Obviously the guy's frustrated but the better team is winning that's the bottom line. Look for the Canucks to sweep after the Toews motivation. I expect Toews to get hit hard a lot more in game 4
That said, there's a lot of hockey left to be played and there's no margin for error the Hawks. One quirky bounce and the Canucks advance.Comment -

#158my internet went out with 2 minutes ago in the first. While I was hoping it would come back on and so I can see a great comeback, my gut told me ... maybe it's better this way. Internet was still down this morning but just got into the office and .... just saw the score.

#159Ouch. I am inclined to agree with you DG. It sounds like psycho-babble but there seems to be some mental block for VAN. I don't know if it's just with CHI or the playoffs in general. VAN as an organization must start Luongo game six and must continue to hope the Sedins get some jam which to me are both horrendous prospects. Maybe something will materalize that will make me say VAN is objectvely the better wager but I can't see anything right now. For all the VAN fans I do hope they come through and show some stellar fight but since my team is out as Balboa would say I ain't emotionally involved...CheersComment -

#161I posted this is another thread as well but this is my two cents.
You can't even blame Lou for those goals yesterday except maybe the first one that's the sad thing. He is our playoff scapegoat as usual though. The team was absolute garbage yesterday. No effort, no heart, nothing. I don't know WTF happened to them but I'm sick and tired of this shit.
The Canucks have no leadership at all and that is the problem. After the game everyone is still using the same old cliches: "We just didn't have it tonight." etc. Get mad, don't feel sorry for yourself. As a die-hard Canucks fan I have no issue with losing when they play their hearts out and give it their all but when they lose with no passion or drive that's when I have a problem.
AV needs to fire his boys up and maybe say a few meaningful words to his boys rather than sit there with that dumb smirk on his face all game long. Clearly the Sedins are not leaders that is rather obvious so the Canucks need someone like Bieksa, Samuelsson or Kesler to call them out and challenge them or this series is over.Comment -

You needed one win THREE GAMES AGO !!!!!
Dont think its gonna happen......
You are playing the defending Stanley Cup Champions.....
You have a goaltending sieve named Loungo......
You are backing a team that ALWAYS CHOKES in Playoffs....
So how does that PRESIDENT TROPHY look Now !!!!!Comment -

#164Canucks played their best game of the series tonight and still lost. Great effort tonight they were the better team for sure just couldn't catch a break. Disappointed in the result but not the effort tonight. All comes down to game 7 now, unreal.
Time to rename the team to the Vancouver Cubs or Vancouver Red SoxComment -

(For the record, my tone would be completely different if the circumstances were different. The Hawks have won the last two years. If this were a pro-Buckeyes thread I'd drop my pants and crap down his throat.)Comment -

#168Go easy on Dwight. We all are fans of one team or another and have felt this frustration before. More importantly, he's still got one more game to go, at home. This team won more games than anyone and just needs one more. It should be a hell of a game seven.

#173Even though I took CHI tonight I'm impressed with VAN. They didn't play at their best but played quite well. I was shocked CS got the nod to start and he played as I expected-well but made mistakes that just show he doesn't have enough reps. One can only figure that CS had a relatively minor muscle pull and will start game seven. I do feel empathy for Luongo-I understand you're a professional that's paid well to perform, blah blah but that situation is as tough as it gets. Realistically, if VAN is even money or so for game seven I'll take them-dependent upon Schneider's condition. Keep your heads up VAN people, it's all square and tonight could have easily ended the series. CheersComment -
