I think VAN in regulation is a reasonable wager for game one. The (probable) loss of Brouwer and Bolland (I wonder if he's going to see any playoff time) hurt CHI more than their stats would show I think. VAN's missing-Alberts? If I was a VAN follower I'd prefer him to be out. Cheers

That was as good of a start for the Canucks as it was awful for the Hawks. One team flying around, delivering hits. The other played stronger in the opening preseason game. Hawks need to show up or Canucks can punch their ticket into the second round. Wow.
