What bothers me the most about this is how Mario complains about this, yet he can't keep his own house clean.
This guy is a disgrace. I hope they give him 20 plus. With all the latest controversy he will definitely get 7-10.

Cooke is the biggest bum of an nhl player out there, he's done more dirty plays then anyone else in the league. Unfortunately the league is biased and he plays for one of the more popular teams out there, that is partly owned by one of the most well known hockey players out there so I doubt he'll get anything over 5 games. Should throw this douche out of the league.

I would have thought the violence would appeal to Americans with the strong UFC following and high violent crime rates? I am pretty sure the game is still very popular in the northern states while in the southern states it is overshadowed by Basketball and Nascar (both boring as hell to watch).

Yes but I was leaning more towards hockey moms not allowing their kids to play and risk serious head injury..It is a long stretch for me to say this, but if you sit back and think about it..It the long haul it could effect the future of the NHL.

Actually that is a really good point (hockey Mom's). My 11 year old nephew was speared in the ribs 2 weeks ago and his Mom was almost mental over it. The coaches and parents here in Calgary are required to take "courses" before their child can play but it seems there is still a lot of hitting from behind and dirty stick work.

Just the game we love to play, it happens. If I ever have a son he will play no matter what, injuries is just a part of the game.

And this suspense for this suspension is killing me! They need to release it already
