The line hasn't come out yet, but after tonight I kind of feel like Detroit might've been looking forward to this game. DET lost their last 2 games against SJ at home. Sharks are on a 7 game win streak, but didn't look too great in their last game against Colorado. This should be a good game. Any early leans?

Yeah. I watched the Game. Detroit had 9PP. They Just couldn't connect. It was frustrating watching them as it was Huge play For me. And that penalty shot really stunk

Shark lovers, look at Sharks average win margin and average total combined goals scored in their last 19 games since 1/15, because they were an average team before that.

Since 1/15 they're winning by 0.8 goals per game with total combined goals scored roughly 0.8 goals below league average. That means NIemi/Nittymaki are stonewalling everybody, despite giving up lots of shots. In my opinion that is unsustainable. Remember Atlanta had the same stretch for 2-3 weeks when absoulutely nobody scored on them despite 30+ shots/game against. Turns out that was luck, because it didn't last.

This game mite be great timing for betting Detroit. Howard's out. Wings are completeing a back to back off an OT game. Sharks are home & have been hot. All that shit's priced in against Detroit & probably exaggerated the line a bit.

Sharks still allow 30 shots/game, so they're probably just catching some lucky breaks defensively. Sharks ain't a dominant puck control team, but Detroit is.

I don't think there's a ton of value in Detroit, but I mite bite for a small amount

With MCD in net for DET I'm on SJ in REG TIME. DET is just a quality team that finds ways to win in all situations-btob, players hurt, whatever. Nevertheless I find one area can be their tending (Howard and MCD aren't sunburn artists but neither are they super sharp.)

Taking the Wings for a unit. The Wings should want this game after dropping 2 in a row at the Joe to these guys. They wont take these guys lightly and will be motivated to give a great effort. Interesting choice by Babcock to start Howard against Ducks and Joey Mac against the Sharks. Maybe he knows something we dont. Obviously these coaches know each other real well since Mclellan use to be Babcocks assistant in Detroit for 3 years.

Sharks playing really good hockey. Only 1 power play for Detroit in the last 2 periods. Couldn't do anything in the 3rd.

I think so. SJ goaltending probably gonna cool off, but to bet that it's gonna suddenly happen tonite is like saying the stock market is suddenly going to correct tomorrow. Eventually it will, but in meantime you could lose your ass shorting it.
