I will try and update the trades as I hear them on TV or whatever else. I live in Canada so Trade Deadline is pretty big up here with all 4 major sport networks covering 5-8 hours of all the deals tomorrow.

Anyone have any thoughts on that? I thought that they would probably move him but its not a bad idea to lock him up for a price like that. He is pretty solid defensively but not the greatest offensive defensemen. I would be surprised if the Sens don't make a couple more moves tomorrow.

You forgot to put Phillips name in there Good signing for the Sens though, Phillips is a very solid stay at home defenceman that every team needs at least one of to be successful.

Trade deadline day is like a holiday to me I will be waking up at 8 am and commencing drinking with a few buddies until the deadline passes later in the day

2nd Round Pick to ST LOUIS

This is a bit of a shocker to me. Boyes is still a super talented guy but really has gone down a few notches since his breakout year. St Louis fans definitely won't like this as it's sort of throwing in the towel on the season. Good trade for both teams though.

St. Louis Blues trade Brad Boyes to the Buffalo Sabres for a second-round draft pick in 2011.

Any thoughts on this? I know they're a few Sabre fans that are around SBR Forums so I'd like to hear what you guys think about this. My guess is the Sabres picked up Boyes to replace the injured forward Roy who is out for the year and need a goal scorer to help Vanek, Stafford, and Pominville carry the load. Think it was a fair trade for both teams since I do think Boyes wasn't working out as the Blues expected him to be so getting a second rounder seems fair to me.

They should be looking to add a top 6 forward and a nice pick up for them would be Dustin Penner from the Edmonton Oilers. I'd expect them to make a move sometime today.

i heard a rumour on the radio this morning that canucks are considering moving mason raymond. canucks are trying to build up their 4th line as they head into the playoffs but in my opinion, hes the one they should work the 4th line around as i can see him becoming another michael grabner type player if they were to move him.i also heard a rumour that they're "showcasing" cody hodgson...

Very good trade for the Oilers in my opinion. The Kings gave up a little to much for Penner but I guess the Oilers wouldn't settle for anything less than what they got.
