sharks got off to a hot start this season mostly because their opposition wasn't ready to go. since then their opposition has given them a run for their money. you can't just look at how they win, you got to look at why they win. i agree the stars came out flat against the ducks, but in the canucks game they DOMINATED in the first period despite being down on the score sheet.

i think the better question is why do you like the sharks?

I got burned by Dallas - only backed them once this season, but should be backing them even after a hard loss vs Panthers (in which Dallas was favored -180).
Just can't back them when Niemi in net - the guy is a sieve.

ya a lot of peeps lost on that game. they are a risky team to bet because they are so run n gun. commentator just said demers is playing rover..pretty accurate. get a shorty then allow a shorty 5 min later haha..entertaining hockey game

sorry to hear that man. i lost a couple games on the sharks against the devils (reg bet) and against the rangers and since then i've been picking spots to fade them.

i didn't play sens/wings last night or tonight cause i have no trust in either team. i think sens are playing slightly better hockey right now, but didn't like the price we were given enough to warrant risking even a unit. i suppose with a gun to my head i go with sens but i hate betting bad teams against other bad teams.

that oil game..wow. im stunned. a goal disallowed that should've counted and two huge mistakes by talbot. those are the bounces you need to win in hockey sometimes. disappointed that we just missed another perfect day.

very exciting game to watch nonetheless and we should still be pleased with the results on the month

nah im in law school over in england, but not studying this semester so i've been up a lot of nights this month haha

well, pending a late collapse by the ducks, it looks like we go 2-2 today with a loss of 0.37 units. at one point it looked like the picks were gonna go 0-3-1 so im okay with a break-even day. we are probably due for a bad one this year (-3 units or more). but for now, gonna keep making my picks the same way. i'm not sure how many of you bother to read the write-ups, but i apologise for the many spelling and grammatical mistakes. hopefully the quality of picks can overcome those shortcomings haha

in case i haven't mentioned it, i'm still with bet365 (gonna kick back up with pinny again soon). therefore all -1/+1 bets are regulation bets for the time being. i'll try to remember to post that on those picks.

thanks buddy, nah the van pick is 1 unit and includes overtime. so if van wins in ot it's a half unit win and a push. stars picks are one unit each. an ot win by the stars is a unit loss and a push. too many 1 goal games and sometimes the stars start off slow so just looking for the value (call me crazy!) sorry for any confusion.

if you don't have that option i would probably go with dallas -1 (ot) and van -0.5 (reg)

Gonna do something a little different tonight.
I like LAK to maybe steal an OT win tonight, but Hawks definitely play tough vs tough opponents - especially at home.
Parlaying Hawks +1.5 with some other junk from other sports.
But then playing Kings +105 to win (1st 60 min.)...push if tied.
I know I'm gonna be on the Under 5 or U 1.5 (1st P) - just don't know how big or which one!
