i think teams have figured out washington's offense. take the slot away (like bylsma told his team in 24/7) from ovi and he will have a tough time scoring.
also it seems like every caps players are slumping this year, the odds of all of them "turning it on" for the playoff is not good IMO.

the caps are not a playoff team. they have many playoff caliber players but their team play is atrocious. No one from the southeast makes it past the first round imo.

who ever gets Spetza could really change the offense of the team. Boston I think could really benefit from a big time scorer, they have very solid D and great goaltending. Washington is far from a lock form even getting out of the first round (montreal last year).

I agree with the Flyers, but in certain ways its a crap shoot. Philly was a 8 seed last year and rolled through the playoffs. Its about catching fire.

It seems that Montreal is way undervalued. Last year went to the Eastern Conference finals as an 8 seed, are a better team this year. Beat both Washington and Pittsburgh in the playoffs. Price is good, but he has no playoff experience. At 25/1 to win the cup they seem to be at a pretty good price.
