What is your reasoning behind the TB and Islanders picks tonight? Both seem like risky dogs to take.

TB has St. Louis, Lecavalier and Gagne. Lecavalier and St. Louis are from the Montreal GTA while Gagne hails from just outside Quebec City. These three will want to put on a show in their home Province. Plus the TB Coaching staff are very familiar with the Montreal playbook.

Price is in net tonight for Montreal and he is not playing up to his potential. The media is on him and he does not appear to be confident at the moment. Price is going to have his hands full with Lecavalier, St.Louis, Gagne and Stamkos.

The Islanders despite the lose of Tavares until the weekend are playing opponents very tough. When they beat the Rangers without Tavares it showed me that they can compete with a potent offensive team at the moment. The Caps have incredible fire power for sure and they could hammer the Islanders. However, at the present time the form that the Islanders are showing, I beleive they can hold their own and I think tonight they keep this close.

        Good Luck, Fade or Follow!

hm... so your rationale behind TB is that they have players from Quebec in their lineup? Isn't that like thinking Germany would win the World Championships if it was in their own country?

Price had a great last game. Best player in the game for Montreal. I would not call him "not confident" right now. Isn't it the home opener for Montreal? Don't you think that's more of an emotional high then coming to play where you were from?

Islanders lost Tavares last game, but they're still dealing with the loss of Okposo and Streit, and now they have a James Wisniewski suspension to deal with. Not to mention Roloson playing instead of DiPietro.

I'm not meaning to bash these picks, I'm just not sure I agree with them

True that Price had a great game but it wasnt at home. This is the Canadians first home game and there is a LOT of pressure on Price in regards to Montreal fans. Many would love to see him fail ever since the Canadians got rid of Halak. That being said I agree with the tampa pick but not so much with the Islanders pick.
            BOL to all.

so hard to connect a 5 team parlay in hockey ... the one that worries me is your buffalo -1.5.
I dont know for sure but I assume Pominville is not in the line up tonight after that hit he took.
                  Hope you hit your parlay.
