Will Doughty win the Norris this year?

Doughty is an excellent candidate. He's who I'd put my money on, for sure. Such a dominant threat at both ends of the ice.

Guys like Keith, Chara, Weber and Myers are good picks too. I'd also give an outside chance to Erik Johnson.

C'mon DennisGreenBay, you know better than that. There's a reson Mike Green didn't get a sniff for Team Canada at the Olympics. He STINKS defensively. Anyone who watched the entire Habs-Caps series would have seen him exposed. By this logic, Semin's a power forward, lol.

He's not even close to a top 10 defenseman in this league and the fact that he was a finalist for the Norris is a disgrace. Most of the hockey writers are lazy and clueless. The GM's and coaches should vote for the award.

Now if you want to discuss who the best rover in the league is, he's definitely a candidate. He might have won the Norris in the 4-on-4 exhibition series during the 94-95 lockout.

This bs reminds me of Coffey winning the Norris in '95 when he was the 3rd or 4th best d-man ON HIS TEAM (Kasatonov, Fetisov, Lidstrom) because he scored the most points.

If you live in BC and don't know what Shambhala is, that's worse than considering Green a Norris candidate.
