Not the most off season action we've ever seen but some teams have been changed.

Tampa Damn those guys look like a great under value team to be against the books.

Detroit Oldies back, lots of injuries. Huge overpriced team get ready to fade.

Those are my two opinions right now, what you guys think and what are yours.

Yeah, I like the moves Yzerman has made so far in Tampa. The biggest surprise for me this offseason is the lack of moves by the Islanders. What is Garth Snow waiting for? They're not even at the cap floor yet and all of the decent players are getting signed.

NHL can be a pretty hard a league to wager succesfully, as it can be one heck of a rollercoaster ride, but there are a few guys on this forum who managed to do it exceptionally well this past season.

Two cappers to keep in mind IMO are TodaysAction and DennisGreen.


They're different types of cappers however. TA tends to bet strictly on ML results. Meanwhile, DG mixes it up and plays many period totals and game totals too.

As we're getting closer and closer to the beginning of training camps across the NHL, you'll see a lot more traffic on the Hockey forum and more cappers posting their thoughts and ideas. Should be a fun year!

I can't wait for hockey season! Although the Wings fell off slightly they will still be in the race all year. Ken Holland wont let them fall on there face he will make moves if he has too.

The Wings fell slightly in 09-10, but they'll be back and rocking if their key veteran guys can stay healthy and contribute the way they're capable of.

Datsyuk had an off year offensively by his standards. He's got too much skill and vision to be a low 70-pt player. He should be back around 90-95 pts production as soon as this year. Jiri Hudler's return to North America, a full season hopefully from "The Mule" Johan Franzen and the signing of Modano all point to a dominant season for Detroit.

Zetterberg - Filppula - Holmstrom
Bertuzzi - Modano - Cleary
Abdelkader - Helm - Eaves/Miller/Draper
