Regretting taking a huge withdraw from my book after hitting a Flyers/Blackhawks Parlay...doubling your money on a Flyers series win seems to be a pretty good bet to me

OK, Maybe the series goes the distance and .. as hockey goes... bounces, hot goalies and stupid penalties may determine the outcome either way but The Flyers are truly destined here

Brushing past the #2 seeded Devils, a once-in-a-Lifetime comeback series against Boston, the so called "best defensive team" in the playoffs, and easily defeating a Montreal team that perplexed the Capitals and then the Penguins, I dont see the Flyers being a push over here

Sure they have a chance of winning it. If they play a close tight game like they did against Montreal I like their chances. If your laying it down before game one on the side or series price Philly seems to be the only way to go. Good luck.

Just because the Flyers finished 7th in the conference doesn't mean that there a lower end playoff team that lucky to get in the finals... At the start of this year many people picked these two teams to get to this point... The Flyers are finally getting healthy and playing the way they should all year... I look at the matchups and really see the Blackhawks with a little edge to this series...I just don't understand why people already gave the cup to the blackhawks???

The difference is SJ is mentally weaker from previous years of choking, Philadelphia appears to be playing with an invincibility.

I will be on Philly. They are the stronger more physical team and I see great value at +220. That and Leighton has shown the ability to steal games for them. Either way it will be a fun series to watch but terrible for ratings.

Again.... people are giving the Flyers no chance to win this series... If your going to put bold statments on the thread please back it up.... Ok they swept a San Jose team that was asking someone to beat them all playoffs. I watched those games and it wasn't like Chicago was dominating every game... I believe Chicago is very good team but explain to me how the flyers will be lucky to win one game in this series? I look at a Flyers team with balance scoring in the front and a defense that is playing incredible in the playoffs.... Ok .. Leighton is a career backup and faced a Montreal team with small forwards... I agree this will be a test for him with a very big Chicago forwards but your guessing he will not be able to do it... I understand Chicago can play fast but if the Flyers pressure forechck could slow this game down... I'm not saying the Flayers are going to win but no one is giving me any good feed back on why the Blackhawks are this incredible team that will sweep the Flyers...

I took the Flyers at +220... it's just too good to pass up. I think the Hawks have about a 60% chance of winning, and the Flyers definitely have a > 30% chance.

haha...for local hockey fans. You are going off a report citing LOCAL ratings. Yes Chicago and Philly are hockey crazy towns. However the rest of the US does not give a shit. They want to see Crosby and Ovechkin, since the NHL has decided to market them almost exclusively.
